At EPITA, we’re all about connecting students from around the world to create an enriching educational experience. Our International Programs Department develops prestigious programs and organizes cultural activities, fostering a vibrant global community right here on campus.

From assisting with administrative procedures before and after your arrival to facilitating your integration into campus life, our dedicated team is here to ensure a smooth transition into the EPITA family.

International Student Pack

Every international student has access to the International Student Pack, which contains:

  • Airport pick-up service.
  • Assistance in finding an apartment near campus and help with the rental agreement.
  • Integration week: 3 nights off campus outside Paris. Accommodation, transportation, full board and activities are included.
  • Cultural activities on and off campus.

Multiple cultural activities, enriching experiences and meetings are organized throughout the year.

We believe that international communication is a real skill. This is why the EPITA Cultural Integration Program allows you to discover not only the campus, but also the French way of life. It includes a series of workshops, French language intensive courses and cultural events to ensure that your transition is as smooth as possible.

During the first Semester, students attend our ‘Getting over Culture Shock’ seminar designed to help them during their first days in France. We are proud to say that there are more than 60 nationalities on Campus and this extraordinary melting-pot can be experienced in the cultural and academic life of the school.

International Student Guide

Tailor-made by the International Department, the International Student Guide details information and advice to help international students settle in as an EPITA student in France. This includes the academic features of the programs, introduction to student life at EPITA, the administrative procedures to complete upon arrival in France, the government housing aid, national health insurance information, transportation card registration and multiple other crucial information when it comes to settle new environement. With this comprehensive guide, students will easily embark on their learning journey.

Students from EU Countries

Great news for students from EU countries! You won’t need to worry about applying for additional paperwork. Your valid identity card is all you need for your journey to EPITA.

Students from Non-EU Countries

Step 1: Prepare Your Passport

For students coming from non-EU countries, your passport is your key to unlocking your academic journey in France. Make sure it’s valid for the duration of your stay and the visa application process.

Step 2: Check Etudes en France Procedure

Submitting your application to Etudes en France platform administered by Campus France can be one of the procedures to follow before you submit your visa application. This digital platform streamlines your application process alongside your EPITA admission. Simply create your private electronic file and follow the instructions provided. To check whether your home country is concerned, please consult the website: https://www.campusfrance.org/en/application-etudes-en-france-procedure.

Step 3: Apply for Visa

International students from non-EU countries must apply for a long-stay student visa equivalent to a residency permit (VLS-TS) to study at EPITA. Consult your nearest French Embassy or Consulate in your home country for specific procedures and requirements tailored to you.

Step 4: Obtain Your Student Residency Permit

Within three months upon your arrival in France, you will need to validate your visa in order to obtain the student residency permit. Don’t worry, we will guide you through this process during the orientation program.

Airport Pick-up

Arriving in a new city can be overwhelming, but at EPITA, we’ve got you covered right from the start. As a student enrolled in our International Programs, you have access to our convenient airport pick-up service.

How It Works:

  1. Plan Your Flight: Once you’ve booked your flight, simply log in to our Application Portal to request airport pick-up.
  2. Request Pick-up: Submit your request at least 72 hours before your departure date during working days (Monday to Friday).
  3. Professional Service: Our dedicated staff will coordinate your pick-up and notify you once it’s confirmed with our professional drivers.
  4. Warm Welcome: Upon arrival, our English-speaking drivers will be there to greet you, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transition to Paris. They’ll make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Housing

Moving to a new country and finding suitable accommodation can be challenging. At EPITA we make it as easy as possible for you to find the place that will suit you best during your stay in Paris.

Bachelor and Master programs: Individual Assistance

Enjoy EPITA’s International Programs Department personalized housing services for all international students throughout their study.

Before your arrival

  • When enrolled, you will be able to make a housing request through the application portal.
  • EPITA’s International Programs welcome assistants suggest you different available housing options and/or provide you information on French reputable accommodation websites, according to your profile, budget, and preferences.
  • All the required documents and admission procedures will be indicated and explained by EPITA.
  • We guide you in signing your rental agreement, paying your deposit, and taking your housing insurance*.
  • We fix an appointment for your check-in/ inventory fixtures with the residence’s administrators in partnership with EPITA.

After your arrival

  • EPITA International Programs welcome assistants will make sure that you have settled in smoothly and that the flat fits your expectations.
  • We supply individual help during the application procedure for the housing allowances offered by the French Government:  Aide Personnelle au Logement (CAF), which you can expect receiving at least 20% of your rent amount each month.

Throughout your stay

  • EPITA International Programs welcome assistants follow up on your rental contract validity, housing allowances and insurance contracts.
  • We assist you on your tenant’s duty.
  • When you leave the accommodation, we will help you through the departure process and relocation.

Type of accommodation

Student residences

Located in the south of Paris, enjoy EPITA’s residence hall partners close to the school.

Accommodation type:
  • 1BHK (one standard-sized bedroom, hall and kitchen)
  • Studios
  • Private rooms in shared apartments
  • Shared rooms

Rental fees per month can go from 600€ up to 900€ depending on the type of accommodation you would like to book.

Reminder: all housings suggested by EPITA’s International Programs are French guarantor free or required the Visale/ Garantme and are eligible for the APL (housing allowances provided by the CAF).

Private rental accommodations

Accommodation type:
  • 1BHK (one standard-sized bedroom, hall and kitchen)
  • Studios
  • Flat sharing

Average costs in a private rental accommodation can vary from 600€ to a higher cost depending on the type of accommodation, comfort, location and other requirements.

Use EPITA housing platform online. In partnership with Studapart, EPITA gives you access to thousands of exclusive offers. All the procedures will occur on the platform, from your file application to the booking. To start, click on “Tenant space” and log in with the username given by the school or with your personal email address

Don’t have a French guarantor?

Studapart is your guarantor during your stay. This option is purchasable on your Studapart profile.

Further information

Rental contract

Your rental contract, or housing lease, must always be written and signed by both parties (landlord and tenant(s)). When leaving your accommodation, a notice letter will always be requested from your landlord for a minimum of 1 month prior the date of your departure.

Financial guarantor

Visale: The free guarantee for everyone!

Set up by Action Logement to make your housing searches easier, Visale is your free public guarantor during your stay. Students from 18 to 30 years old are eligible.

Garantme : a solution for everyone!

Garantme will act as your guarantor and assist you in your search for accommodation.

Housing insurance and civil liability insurance

Having a housing insurance is mandatory in France when renting an accommodation. If you are sharing an accommodation, you must take the civil liability as well to cover any damages occurring from you, your roommate(s) or fire, water, rain, etc.

Housing allowances (CAF)

The APL (Aide Personnalisé au Logement) are calculated according to your incomes, main situation, and location. As a student, when renting an accommodation under your name you are eligible to the housing allowance provided by the CAF (APL).

Exchange program students

Exchange students coming to EPITA also have the possibility to book their accommodation before their arrival (€125 booking fees, including airport pickup). They will live with our international students in furnished accommodations, with bills included (electricity, Internet, etc.), and within easy walking distance of campus.
