Admissions

The admission process at EPITA is entirely automated. Applicants will be informed of each phrase of the process by email.

BSc Computer Science

Admission Criteria

The program is open to applicants holding a high school diploma, or who are in their first year of a bachelor’s program (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related fields. Applicants need to have a strong background in mathematics and general sciences.

English Language Requirement

If the native language or the medium of instruction of the applicants’ high school education is not English, they have to demonstrate proficiency in English using one of the following tests.

  • TOEFL (minimum score 80 IBT)
  • TOEIC (minimum score 800)
  • IELTS (minimum score 6.0)

French Language Requirement

No French level is required for the candidates to be admitted to the BSc Computer Science program.

How to Apply

1. Apply directly through EPITA

Applicants should fill in the application form and upload the following documents translated into English or French in digital format at our application portal:

  • CV
  • Passport
  • Scan copy of certified High School transcripts
  • Scan copy of certified High School certificate
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • TOEFL (80 IBT), TOEIC (800), or IELTS (6.0), if the native language or the medium of instruction of the high school education of the applicant is not English
  • Statement of purpose

The admission process is fully automated, and the application should be submitted online.

Application fee: €60 / Payable upon submitting application

2. Apply through Parcoursup

Parcoursup is the national admissions platform for the first year of higher education. To know more, please click here.

Application Procedure

  1. Submit your application
  2. Take an online Mathematics test
  3. Attend an online interview
  4. Receive admission results

One intake per year in September.

Program fees: €10,400 for the first year; €9.900 per year for the second and the third year

MSc Computer Science

Admission Criteria

The program is open to candidates holding a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields. Students with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree with related work experience can also apply!

English Language Requirement

If the native language or the medium of instruction of the applicants’ Bachelor’s study is not English, they have to demonstrate proficiency in English using one of the following tests.

  • TOEFL (minimum score 80 IBT)
  • TOEIC (minimum score 800)
  • IELTS (minimum score 6.0)

French Language Requirement

No French level is required for candidates to be admitted to the MSc Computer Science program.

Admission Criteria

The program is open to applicants holding a 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields. There are no age restrictions. Students can join this program immediately after receiving their Bachelor degree or later in their careers. Applicants need to have a strong background in mathematics and general sciences.

The program is open to candidates holding a 3-year or 4-year Bachelor’s degree (or higher) regardless of their discipline. There are no age restrictions. Students can join this program immediately after receiving their Bachelor’s degree or later in their careers.

If the native language or the medium of instruction of the applicants’ Bachelor study is not English, they have to demonstrate proficiency in English using one of the following tests.

  • TOEFL (minimum score 80 IBT)
  • TOEIC (minimum score 800)

International Student Pack

An International Student Pack is included in the program fees, which consists of the followings:

  • Airport pick-up within two weeks before the program begins
  • Assistance in finding an apartment near campus and signing the rental contract
  • Integration week: 4-day off-campus activities outside Paris. Accommodation, transportation, full board and activities are included.
  • A variety of cultural activities, meetings and enriching experiences off- and on- campus throughout the year

To help students settling down in France, our Team guides students through all required administrative and pedagogic procedures, including

  • validating the visa at OFII
  • purchasing housing insurance
  • opening a bank account
  • registering at social security
  • obtaining a public transportation subscription
