Internships
Only by working in a corporate environment can one truly assess the knowledge and skills acquired and fully understand what remains to be achieved. This is why students at the EPITA engineering school of Computer Science are required to complete several internships during their academic years.
EPITA offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real-world professional experience in an international and culturally diverse environment. We work closely with companies around the world to seek out the specific positions that will best suit our students’ interests.
Degree Programs in English
The last teaching period is organized around a 6-month internship in a company, which ends with the presentation of a master’s thesis on campus before the graduate committee.
This mandatory internship allows students to discover the latest technologies while gaining valuable experience.
Feedback from the host companies has been overwhelmingly supportive of our programs.
Students from our Master of Science program in Computer Science (MSc) are paid between €800 and €1,300 per month during their internships.
Students from our Master of Engineering (ME) program are paid between €1,200 and €1,600 per month during their internships.
To find these internship opportunities, the career services office at EPITA organizes several events:
- Job fair: the Business Forum for Engineering and Information Technology. Each year, EPITA organizes this event bringing together companies wishing to meet our students and recent graduates.
- Speed dating: 30-minute interviews between students and companies looking for interns and companies offering job opportunities for young graduates.
- Conference Weeks: these week-long events are scheduled twice a year by companies to share their experiences and present their newest applications. The 60 to 90 minute meetings help students gain insight into the latest business trends.

The Business Forum for Engineering and Information Technology
A major EPITA event dedicated to companies in the engineering and IT sectors
The ideal opportunity for 4th and 5th year students from EPITA to meet various professionals on their campus, FEMII (forum for companies in the engineering and IT sectors) is one of the leading events for our future engineers who are looking for an internship or their first job after graduation.
A wide range of sectors
Service providers, software publishers, consulting firms, large retailers or major players from a variety of sectors (banking, distribution, hotel industry, aeronautics…) have chosen EPITA to recruit the best people in their field to support them with their digital transformation projects.
International reach forum
The Forum welcomes several foreign-based companies and regularly invites companies that are founded and run by EPITA-educated engineers.
EPITA also organizes other events throughout the students’ academic years.
Our aim is to help students develop and realize their career plans.
During their studies, students have a wide range of opportunities to work on their future career. These include meeting with former students to learn more about different professions, résumé workshops, speed-dating for the 4th year internship, and week-long events where they can meet professionals from different companies.
We also organize meetings with professionals sponsoring a Class, to visit partner companies’ facilities.
These numerous initiatives allow each student to exchange with professionals from over one hundred companies, while studying at EPITA.
